Personal Highlights
- Jim enjoys traveling with his wife Debbie along with attending soccer games for their daughters, Nicole (20) and Jennifer (17), both of who were starters on Medina High School’s 2009 Girls Division 1 soccer state championship team.
- He is also an avid outdoorsman spending much of his free time with his family camping, hunting, and fishing across Ohio and Canada.

Group Manager
Jim Jankowski is the Group Manager for CSS’ Secure Infrastructure Management (SIM) team with a primary focus on the development and delivery of CSS’ System Center based device, desktop, datacenter, and cloud systems management strategy. Prior to joining CSS, Jim worked for Microsoft’s Heartland District as an Account Technology Strategist supporting the district’s Northern Ohio Healthcare customers, and prior to that he was the district’s Visio Solution Specialist. Over that time Jim received numerous awards and recognition for his sales and technical leadership at the district, national, and worldwide levels as well as for his customer demo environment and related online status dashboard. The dashboard highlights the advanced integration capabilities native to Microsoft System Center management and Forefront security products, related partner extensions, as well as SharePoint 2010 and Visio 2010 and is used by CSS and Microsoft field (Sales, MCS, and Premier) worldwide to demonstrate this integration to customers. Before joining the Microsoft Heartland District, Jim worked for Microsoft’s Public Sector State and Local Government (SLG) group as a System Center Specialist supporting North Central and Western U.S. customers. Jim’s primary focus during this time was pre-sales technical support of Microsoft’s System Center management products where he played a key role in helping SLG finish 2nd in the U.S. two years in a row in System Center revenue attainment. In this role, Jim received a national award for the largest competitive wins for Configuration Manager 2007 and MDOP in the US (25,000+ seats) for one of Microsoft’s largest government customers. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2006, Jim spent 18 months as a Client Architect for Progressive Insurance where he led efforts to implement a Microsoft platform (SMS 2003) based automated desktop/application deployment and OS migration solution. Jim previously also worked for Microsoft from January, 2000 to October, 2004 in various roles including Account Technology Specialist for the Great Lakes District as well as an MCS Infrastructure Consultant, Senior Technical Account Manager, and Security Solution Architect for Microsoft’s Financial Services Group winning numerous customer satisfaction awards along the way. Prior to that, Jim spent 13 years with Rockwell Automation’s Allen-Bradley division as a Desktop Architect and Program Manager.
