Rex Wheeler is a Principal Consultant in the Identity & Access Management group and the Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) Practice Lead at Certified Security Solutions (CSS).

Rex has over 20 years of software development and computing infrastructure experience, including 15 years in consulting and 5 years in industrial manufacturing environments.

Rex has the rare combination of understanding the whole computing picture from low-level hardware to high-level application design and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Rex has designed and architected several complex systems, including an application-level network monitoring system, a dynamically branded group insurance quoting system, and the first online golf tee time reservation system on the Internet.

Rex's diverse background makes him one of the CSS "go to" guys for solving difficult technical issues and dealing with pressing client technical issues that are outside of standard CSS service offerings. "Give it to Rex, he will figure it out" is a common quote heard around the office.
