Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Tom Klein is the vice president of sales and marketing at Certified Security Solutions, Inc. (CSS), where he leads CSS strategy and tactics related to sales, branding, marketing, and direct and inside sales team execution, as well as partner channels. Tom is responsible for execution of CSS’ revenue goals and identifying key new market opportunities that increase market share within the Secure Identity and Access segment. Additionally, he interfaces closely with executive leadership, investors, and the product development team to ensure that clients are being presented with the most current, relevant, and consumable information about CSS solutions.
Tom brings over 38 years of experience with client facing leadership roles for Fortune 1000 clients at IBM, Microsoft, as well as start-up entrepreneurial firms. He has played a significant role in product launches and one-to-many marketing campaigns. Tom has also held the role of sales management for direct selling teams in product, software, and services organizational models. Prior to joining CSS, Tom was the regional sales manager for Florida at Microsoft and the location manager for the Tampa facility.
Personal Highlights – Tom lives along the water in the winter home of the Manatee – Crystal River, Florida with his wife Lora. He is the proud “Papa T” of four grandchildren. Tom is an avid boater and considers himself a wannabe chef in his spare time. He is a student of history with a strong interest in the American Civil War.
