Lead Solutions Architect
Wayne Harris is the Lead Solutions Architect at Certified Security Solutions, Inc. (CSS). In this role, Wayne is responsible for the delivery of client PKI design and enterprise architecture solutions, as well as directing the deployment and operations of client PKI services. Wayne manages the CSS PKI practice standards, and develops the company’s PKI Suite, a comprehensive package of PKI capabilities, which include: PKI readiness reviews, health checks, design and deployment, management software, managed services, and complete as a service options. Along with his consulting role, Wayne implemented and continues to oversee CSS’ internal IT systems.
Wayne brings extensive hands-on experience implementing enterprise solutions using Active Directory, SMS, Exchange and SQL; holding professional certifications in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified IP Professional.
Wayne joined CSS from Microsoft, where he spent four years with Microsoft Consulting Services implementing infrastructure solutions to enterprise clients. During this time, Wayne was instrumental in delivering one of the largest Active Directory designs in the world. Prior to CSS, Wayne was a consultant with Microsoft and a network engineer at NASA. Wayne also served in the US Marine Corps where he worked on voice radio cryptography.
Personal Highlights – Wayne lives in Brunswick, Ohio with his wife Kerri and their dogs. They relax by taking weekend motorcycle trips. Wayne also enjoys hunting weekends with his two sons, Stephen and Michael. He considers himself an amateur winemaker specializing in California and local varietals and likes to share the fruits of his labor with his colleagues.
